Now that I stopped uploading my pictures to Google photos, I use Dropbox but I miss the functionalities of Google photos so I'm wondering if I should switch from Dropbox to iCloud completely. I also pay 1 euro a month to back up my iPhone on iCloud and within a few years I'd add my daughters probably. I've been paying for 2tb on Dropbox and it serves as a back up for all my data on my MBP. Now that I can't use Google photos anymore (they gave me three weeks until they expect it to be full 😛) I'm reconsidering my backup options. I used to backup my photos on Google photos for easy sharing, but I would always download them on my MBP and only sync back favourites to save space on my iPhone. I just read this article but I'm still unsure what to do.
